Important — Emergency Disclaimer

Ask a Cardiologist is NOT an emergency service. If you have chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, or any symptoms you believe may be life-threatening, call 999 immediately or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency department. Do not use this service in an emergency.

1. About This Service

Ask a Cardiologist provides remote cardiology advice from Dr Mohammad Radwan Almajali MD MRCP(UK) CCT Cardiology (GMC No. 7389425), a UK-registered consultant cardiologist. This is a private fee-paying service.

This service does not replace your NHS GP or emergency services. It is intended to complement, not replace, your existing NHS care.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to use this service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You must not use this service for emergency medical situations

3. Consultation Services

We offer the following paid services:

  • Written cardiology question (response within 48 hours) — £35
  • Result review and written report — £55
  • Phone consultation (20 minutes) — £90
  • Video consultation (30 minutes) — £110

All consultations are provided by Dr Almajali personally. Response times are target times and may vary during high demand periods.

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Refunds may be issued at Dr Almajali's discretion if a consultation has not yet been started. Once a written response or report has been delivered, or a scheduled call has taken place, no refund will be issued. To request a refund, contact contact@askacardiologist.co.uk.

5. Limitations of Service

Remote consultations have inherent limitations. Dr Almajali cannot physically examine you and is reliant on the information and documents you provide. The advice given is based solely on the information you submit.

Advice provided through this service does not constitute a formal NHS referral and does not create a long-term doctor-patient relationship unless agreed separately.

6. GMC Compliance

Dr Almajali operates in accordance with GMC Good Medical Practice guidelines and the GMC guidance on remote consultations. All consultations are conducted in a professional and confidential manner.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading medical information
  • Use this service on behalf of another person without their consent
  • Attempt to misuse or abuse the service
  • Share your account credentials with others

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
